Myfanwy Millward was brought up in Mid Wales and began writing for children when she was a teenager looking for ways to entertain her younger cousins. After studying Film and Journalism at Cardiff University she worked as an English teacher in Italy and Spain. Since moving back to the UK, she's written scripts for documentaries, stories, monologues and has worked with children and young people in Africa teaching them how to make films. She currently works as a freelance writer and continues with her love of writing and telling children's stories.
