Mike Tysoe has spent his life working in various fields of design. Commercial art and illustration eventually turned into furniture designing and making and latterly he has been employed in a girls' grammar school as a Design Technology Technician and Learning Mentor. He has always had an interest in fantasy art and a love of the British countryside. When his little girl asked him to tell her a magical story on a forest walk one day, he was bound to have to write the book of the tale that unfolded.
