Books By Mervyn Blake - Author

Mervyn Blake brings to his writing his experience of teaching in Singapore for over twenty years as well as his work as an examiner for the Cambridge International Examinations Board. He is the author of several series of highly effective English books for students.

A graduate of University College London, where he studied Modern English Usage under Professors Randolph Quirk and A.C. Gimson, his fascination with the way students learn language progressed over several years of teaching English in British schools before the Ministry of Education appointed him to teach in Singapore. He taught at Victoria School and, later, at Hwa Chong.
