Marc wrote this book for his mother, Ann Marie. Ann Marie has worked as an elementary school teacher and librarian for over 30 years, and has instilled in all the children she has spent time with the importance of reading and expressing oneself creatively. Marc wanted to write something for his Mom to read to students who are going through their own difficult time, dealing with the loss of a beloved pet.
