Leena (pronounced with a short "e"!) Lane comes from Yorkshire, is half Finnish and lives with her husband and two young children in Reading. She has been a teacher of modern languages, worked in bookshops, and worked as a children's book editor for two different Christian publishers for nine years. She has written mostly for the under-sixes. She enjoys languages, cinema, theatre, model-making and children!
