Katherine Kowaloff attended the University of Illinois, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and Boston University, where she earned a Master of Social Work degree. She spent most of her career as a child and family therapist and school adjustment counselor in Worcester, Massachusetts. After moving to Plymouth, Massachusetts, Katherine became a Hospice Social Worker, supporting patients and their families. She is currently retired and living in Plymouth, MA, with her husband of thirty-nine years and their rescue dog, Chloe.
