Kate Symes is a British author that lives in Shaftesbury in Dorset with her husband, Lee, and two daughters, Poppy and Harriet. She has previously had a murder mystery, The Nutters, published, which turned a hobby of short story writing into a dream come true. Since becoming a mother, her writing passion has turned to children's stories, particularly rhyming ones. Perfectly Poppy will be her first children's book.
