Judy Tapler is a special education teacher who was born and raised on Long Island, NY, where she still lives today with her husband and two daughters. Santa Horse was originally a silly poem which Judy wrote for her friend, Andrea. While in college, with the help of her artistic friend, Marilena, the poem was turned into a book for a children's literature assignment. Michelle Kohler was born and raised in a small town called Roxbury, in upstate New York. She has always had a great love of animals. Michelle has been drawing and painting since she was a young girl.
