Jane Pitt is wife of Andrew, mother of three adult children and 'grandmum' of five grandchildren under six years of age. She has loved being an English and History secondary school teacher for 48 years. She has always been passionate about inspiring her own children and those in her care to read widely and with joy. After the arrival of her grandchildren, she was thrilled to create stories to entertain and delight them, as well as to eventually show them the importance of good values and resilience in life. She is now semi-retired and resides in Kiama, Australia, with her husband. Little Pip's Big Adventure is her first picture book.
