J.P. Stewart grew up in a small town in southern New Jersey. She started writing after becoming a domestic goddess (stay at home mom). She has always loved to write. Even as a young girl she wrote her first book at eight years old, aspiring to someday be a published author. She now lives in Florida with her husband and son. J.P. loves to write for children with a hidden lesson intertwined with nature. J.P. feels we have a lot to learn from all the animals around us and that animals teach us a lot about life if we are willing to slow down, watch and listen.
