Born in Sudan, Hamza Yassin moved to UK when he was young and settled in Scotland following the completion of his Masters Degree. He began his career as a wildlife cameraman and made his first television appearance on The One Show, going on to become Ranger Hamza for CBeebies live action show Let's Go for a Walk. Since then, Hamza has appeared on The One Show, Countryfile and is a presenter on the BBC's Animal Park. He has also presented his own Channel 4 documentaries, Scotland: My Life in the Wild and Scotland: Escape to the Wilderness and he presented his own BBC One Primetime TV programme Hamza Strictly: Birds of Prey. He is the author of Hamza's Wild World.
