She often writes with her husband, Mel Friedman.Jerry Smath has written and illustrated more than forty books for children. His work has received much praise, including a Children’s Choice Award, a Kids First Award, and a Parents’ Choice Award. He lives in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, with his wife.
