DICK KING-SMITH is one of the most popular children's writers around. THE SHEEP-PIG won the Guardian Fiction prize in 1984 and was transformed into the film BABE. He was also voted the British Book Award Children's Author of the Year in 1991. He lives in Keynsham, Avon.
PETER FIRMIN lives near Canterbury. Together with Oliver Postgate they created such favourites as NOGGIN THE NOG, IVOR THE ENGINE, BAGPUSS and THE CLANGERS.
