Dena Kinney resides in Massachusetts. She married her high school sweet heart at 22 and is still happily married. She worked in corporate America for quite some time until becoming a mother in 2003. She has been blessed with two children who now are young adults. As a little girl, writing was her passion, a kind of therapy if you will. Her days were spent foraging and exploring through magical, enchanted forests, where much of her inspiration comes from. A great love for Mother Earth and her creatures, grew and grew, and still continues to do so. By using her imagination, metaphorical wings sprouted, flying her through life's adventures. This was instrumental in her dreaming up the world Peapodville, the most perfect backdrop for her stories, for her imagination, and for her characters to come alive. Hence, Bendee, the pea, was born!
