Catherine Barr has written over 35 nonfiction picture books on nature and conservation. After campaigning with Greenpeace for years, she trained as a journalist and became an editor at the Natural History Museum. Catherine works with scientists around the world to research and write books to inspire children to explore, understand and take action to protect the natural world. She is a proud Patron of Reading for a local school a.nd welcomes opportunities to share her stories in schools and libraries in the UK and abroad
