Candy Dwyer lives with her husband, Paul, on a small lake in North Carolina. They have four adult daughters and six grandchildren. She and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time with their growing family. Candy is an avid animal lover and currently has three rescue dogs, but has had many more rescues over the years, including the two turkeys featured in this book.
