I have always been a storyteller but never before written anything down. The stories of George are the ones my children, then grandchildren always wanted to hear. Now my grandchildren, often refer to, but no longer sit for, Nanny's stories and I miss that. I find in writing, I can recapture the innocence of children and indulge myself once more. I wrote the story of George five years ago and various friends said they loved it and said I should publish it. Now, with time on my hands, I thought I would perhaps, 'give it a go'. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
