I was born in Yorkshire but spent a happy childhood living in the north of Scotland. After moving to Cornwall in my teens, I eventually attended teacher training college in Northumberland and settled down to live there. Walking Lily, my beautiful, but bonkers, cocker spaniel around the countryside and along the Northumberland coast is a pastime that I enjoy. As a teacher, one of the pleasures of my job was sharing stories with the children in my class. Now retired, I find myself creating stories of my own with the hope that they will be shared and enjoyed by all who read them.
