Alexandra Stevens has worked with children extensively in different settings in South East England. During her time working with children, she noticed there were not many real-life adventure books which reflect where children may like to visit in their futures. As a keen traveller herself, she visited Peru, where she stayed at an orphanage and ventured much of the country. Alexandra believes children should be exposed to the way other cultures live as much as possible to further enrich their knowledge and understanding of their world around them.
