Chris Cowdrey is the eldest son of Colin Cowdrey (Lord Cowdrey of Tonbridge CBE). His youngest brother Graham completes the Cowdrey cricketing dynasty, which saw a Cowdrey on the Kent team sheet for 48 consecutive years.
Chris is married to Christel and they have twin boys, Fabian and Julius. Chris was educated at Wellesley House and Tonbridge School. He played professional cricket for 17 years, captaining Kent and England, finishing with a year in the valleys for Glamorgan. Since then he has remained involved in cricket as a radio broadcaster and public speaker.
