After boarding school and a graphic design degree, she gained a postgraduate degree in teaching. For 25 years, she worked as the agent and business manager to author and illustrator, Chris Winn. Together they produced the ‘Mad Gadget’ cartoon series, which was the most popular cartoon on the Young Telegraph for over 7 years. Today, she is a freelance journalist specialising in lifestyle features and profiles of global business leaders. Her work is published in leading newspapers and magazine on four continents. She has two grown-up children and is now an eccentric aunt herself.
