Mark and Tom's school was putting on the Drummer Boy for their Christmas program. Mark won the lead role over his best friend, Tom. During the performance Mark learns that Tom really wanted the part and had invited his whole family. Mark switches places with Tom and shows the true meaning of Christmas.
When toy making production lags behind schedule Santa has an idea to speed up production in the toy making department. He brings in a super new machine much to the elves distress. The toy making machine has problems producing quality toys and Santa realizes his mistake. He gets rid of the machine and the elves are back on the job.
Christmas is just around the corner and there is no snow—even at the North Pole. Santa is frantic. The elves are not getting anything done because they are enjoying the warm weather. Santa decides to pay a visit to Mother Nature and find out what is going on. Mother Nature has decided to make it warm all your long everywhere in the world. Santa convinces Mother Nature to put the seasons back how they were and let it snow.
A king wants his son to understand the true meaning of Christmas so he sends the prince on a quest. The prince is to find an old sage who will tell him the meaning of Christmas. The King gives his son three gifts that he is supposed to give to the sage for telling him the meaning of Christmas. On the way the prince encounters several people that he is able to help but in order to do so he gives away the gifts he was supposed to give to the old sage. The prince returns home and has to tell his father he failed because he gave away the gifts. His father is elated because his son understood the meaning of Christmas.
