Young mermaid fans will be delighted to follow along and learn how to wash their hair just like a mermaid does!
Mr. Green's class has guest speakers, Mr. Hart and Miss Troy, who speak to the students about a place in Africa called Darfur that is in crisis. Mr. Hart and Miss Troy represent a group called Earth Peace. They explain that the government has taken over the people's homes, so the people of Darfur live in camps that have little food or water.
The students decide to write letters to the president of the United States, asking him to help by talking to the country about this problem. Finally the president writes back to thank them. He agrees to speak to the country soon about the crisis in Africa.
