Santa's Brother Keeper O'Reilly: A Christmas Tale of Long Ago
This tale begins with the story of two brothers, Keeper and Santa, enjoying a blissful childhood in the magical Kingdom of the Christmas Mountains in northern New Brunswick. They play along side buffalo, reindeer, rabbits, and all the creatures that make up this mystical land under the watchful eye of their parents, Papa and Mamma Claus.
One year in the springtime of long ago, while the boys were fishing along side the river bank, a great storm was brewing all around the Christmas Mountains. The lakes, rivers and streams overflowed their banks, and the winds blew in a misty magical fog from the north, covering the entire region. In all the confusion, Keeper is swept far away in his tiny wooden fishing boat, only to drift ashore on the banks of an mysterious new world known as the isle of Ireland.
Keeper is lovingly taken in and raised by the Leprechauns, the indigenous peoples of this mysterious land. They soon come to recognize the magical powers he already possess, and eventually appoint him apprentice Master of Leprechauns, teaching him all of their secrets. Missing his family, he realizes he can use his combined powers to travel back to his homeland to journey through the magical forests and hopefully find the magical gate of the Christmas Village to reunite with his Brother Santa and all of his Christmas Mountain family..
