Marilyn Benjamin Wassmann was born in a leap year and earned four degrees-two in art history, one in library science, and one in studio art. Before retiring in 2011, Marilyn worked as an art cataloger at the Library of Congress. She has illustrated and contributed to anthologies for the Greenbelt Writers Group, and in 2010, she published a children's book with her husband's assistance entitled 'What the Wind Blew In'. Besides drawing and painting, Marilyn writes poetry in her spare time. She lives in Hyattsville, Maryland with her husband Paul, and some fish, one rabbit, one cat, and three dogs.
The Longers' family have spent weeks with Teensie. They take him out into the community and listen to what he wants to say. The airplane is different. There, he's seen as 'just a pet,' and restricted from viewing the plane's take-off and landing. This doesn't sit well with Teensie.
A message from Teensie:
Being in a tank has its advantages. Primarily, people forget that I’m there. I mean, let’s be realistic for a moment, even when they do remember I’m around, they don’t see me as a threat.
I’m just a harmless goldfish.
But that’s not my full story. See, I’m more than just a goldfish. I can talk - and the people I talk to can understand me.
I live with an amazing family, Melinda and her father, who are doing everything they can do to keep me safe and give me the life I dream about.

Swimming is easy for Teensie. Not so much for Melinda and her Father. While they discuss the difficulties they are having with their SCUBA lessons, he must advocate for himself to get out of the plastic baggie and into a proper travel tank.

Tino le tyrannosaure rêve de devenir nounou. Il en rêve tant et si bien qu'il installe un petit coin bébé pour accueillir les premiers parents et leurs petits… en vain. Tino se lamente, personne ne veut confier ses bébés à un tyrannosaure. Soudain, il entend des bruits et découvre cinq minuscules rongeurs affamés. Tino est fin prêt à s'occuper de ces petits délaissés !
Depuis quelques temps, Mikou dit toujours non. Il connaît plein d'autres mots, mais il se sent tout déboussolé. Kami et Miki essaie de le faire, de jouer, rien n'y fait ! Miki lui aussi est maintenant tout chagrin, mais quand il est temps d'égayer ses amis, l'énergie revient !
