Adventures Of Pinkie: What's in a Nickname Synopsis
A fabulously feisty pink-mad tomboy, Pinkie lives with her mum and dad in a stripey lighthouse by the sea, has lots of friends and loves to visit the Grampies down the hill. She loves to re-use things (especially Pink things) and create her own fun and adventures. In this adventure, find out how Pinkie gets her nickname.
Maddy Rose was born and raised in Cambridge, and has lots of fond memories of holidays on the north Devon coast with its long sandy beaches and stories of smugglers coves and pirates hide-outs. Maddy studied graphic illustration for two years before a move to Southampton to get a degree in podiatry.
When Maddy gave up work to have her first child she reverted back to her illustration days and started scribbling the stories for Pinkie. Now a full time mum and juggling a career as a children’s author Maddy is a happily married mother of two, living on the coastline that she fell in love with as a child.
